Saturday 20th October. Make a note of the date. London. The Olympics will be over. We’ll have had more austerity. The banks, the privateers, and the toffs will have given us more shocking headlines. It will be a good time to take to the streets again.
The Coalition will wheel out the usual clichéd stories about the “deficit”, “the unions”, “the hard-working tax payer” etc, etc. Just remember that all those trade union members are also hard-working tax payers, unlike the leaders of the global companies that are creaming off the profits.
Support the TUC march on Saturday 20th October, A Future That Works.
If you are a member of a trade union you can probably get free transport to London to join the thousands of others marching to reclaim the economy from the rich and the posh.
