Protests organised by local people are the right response. The NHS Commissioners will take silence and apathy as an acceptance of their position. They will try to force through whatever changes they want.
Parents and families on the streets is not what they want to see. Low key and out of the headlines, that’s how they would like it to be.
I will support the demonstration and march in Bedford, Saturday 24th August. Hopefully it will be fully supported by the Bedford public and its local politicians.
The only way to save our local services is to show we care and are prepared to fight to save them.
