From Place Theatre website:
“Swan Theatre Company present their latest production, the hilarious April in Paris by John Godber.
Al and Bet live out their humdrum existence in their drab house. She works in a shoe shop, he is an unemployed builder. They find ways to kill time; her with magazine competitions; him with his horrible paintings.
Then one day, their luck changes when Bet wins a competition for a romantic weekend break to Paris.
This brilliant comedy from the writer of Bouncers, Teechers and Up n Under, follows their adventures in the City of Light, visiting the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, riding the Metro, eating foreign muck and exposing themselves to the Red Light District.
Their lives will never be the same again
Note that this show is not suitable for children under 14.
Tickets for this show are priced at £9.00, with a concession price of £7.50.”
I love a good laugh!
