The East Coast mainline “is an accidental head on collision between public and private sectors that the public sector embarrassingly won.”

So if the most successful of our Railway operators is being handed back to those who run the least successful operations, we must ask why?

Is it just blind ideology? Of course not, The Coalition Government wouldn’t do that would they?

The Green Party policy is to re-nationalise the railways. Yeah, it’s a bit ideological, but it’s also sensible, given how the Privatised Companies perform. Go Green.
