Nearly 100,000 of Britain’s poorest children go hungry after parents’ benefits are cut – Health News – Health & Families – The Independent.

I think this might mean that Ian Duncan Smith has set up a system of industrial scale attacks on families, which eventually results in children in poverty suffering abuse. They go hungry.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if he could set up a system which was just as effective, but, instead of reinforcing poverty, it set out to alleviate poverty.

Is that asking too much of a British Government in the 21st Century?

He seems so proud of his achievements. I cannot understand why. How can anyone be proud of this outcome?

Is there something wrong with me?

Or there something wrong with Ian Duncan Smith?

I am ashamed of my country. I will be even more ashamed if they are re-elected in 2015, to continue this abuse.

And this on a day when we are told frontline workers may face 5 years in jail if they do not report abuse.

Punishment, punitive actions, all in the name of The Long Term Economic Plan.

As a nation we should be truly shocked and ashamed. As we should by much of what is done in the name of the British people, by so few of the wielders of power.
