Old Politics

Cameron and Osborne are “gambling that Britons have empathy for pensioners and underpaid over-25s, but little for the young, for those on incapacity benefit, or on a low income with more than two children and for those who work in the public sector – all of whom were hit hard by the budget.”

I have more faith in the UK electorate. Yes there are those who have little empathy, but the majority of the electorate know that Osborne’s victims have not made a “life style choice”, in much the same way that the Royal Family have made a “life style choice”. If it were as simple as that then we’d all make the choice. It’s not.

His choice is to make life harder for those who are already having a difficult time.  If you support him you will be pleased with his choice. I believe most people do not support Osborne and his choice. That majority now have to decide how , or if, they will oppose and defy Osborne. Do nothing and Osborne will succeed. That’s all it takes. Do nothing.
