MP quits aide role over mail privatisation plan | UK Politics | Not today, December 2008

A ministerial aide quit today in protest at Government plans to partly privatise the Royal Mail.

The aide was Mr Jim McGovern MP, who resigned as Private Secretary to the then Business Secretary, Mr Pat McFadden MP, over his proposals to partly privatise the Royal Mail. The date was December 2008

And therein lies the problem for labour. If you want a privatising, cut driven, austerity based government you should vote Tory.

If you are against those things you should be able to vote Labour. But you can’t. You’ll get something very similar to a Tory Government.

That left a lot of us looking elsewhere. Now we’ve found a new home. We’re not ex-Labour voters anymore, we’ve moved on, and the Labour Party don’t seem to understand that.blog-w1.png
