Extinction Rebellion are a non violent global movement. They respond to local authority and government inaction to climate change.
There aim is to create positive change for the environment before its too late. XRBeds perform acts in the public arena to increase awareness of the earths plight.
“Climate change is the responsibility of everyone”, said Bedford’s Mayor recently.
What he didn’t recognise is that for some it’s not about responsibility, it’s about irresponsibility.
Governments, local authorities, global corporations, and their leader’s, give direction. Most of us have little chance to influence that direction and the decisions they make on a daily basis.
The ones who make the decisions, control the budgets, decide how to spend the money. They think the solution to the problem of climate change is more of the same.
Well maybe if we change what we do, we can change what they do. Vote for something different.
Extinction Rebellion is a grassroots response to local councils, government and corporations who refuse to act. And to the Mayor of Bedford. It’s time to act.
No need to worry, we’ll all die.
